Mobility Technology Solutions (MTS) develops and runs the mobile services including all the networks and it-systems for TeliaSonera. The unit has approx. 1,500 employees in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Lithuania. We are looking for an experienced IP Network Engineer that can strengthen our new cross-border operational team.

Job Description

As an IP Network Engineer in TeliaSonera IP Transport you will be a part of an international, exciting and innovative team, working on new projects and solutions, configuration, implementation, network analysis, service deliveries and operation of the IP networks connecting the Mobile infrastructure in the Nordic and Baltics.

The main work areas are:
Plan capacity, configure, test, implement and integrate IP platforms
Participation in projects for new solutions
Secure and restore quality in IP platforms remote and onsite
Participate in 24/7 on call duty
Analyse and handle incidents & tickets and troubleshoot in order to restore service.
As technical expert contribute in management and development of IP Transport network together with System Manager and Development Engineers. Act as technical expert in development projects
Early learn new networks in order to receive and operate it

Required skills and Business Experience:
MSC or BSC degree in Technical Science or/and the same level of expertise achieved through work experience or certifications
2-6 years’ experience of Operation & Maintenance of IP systems
Technical education and experience on Cisco equipment and UNIX
Education and experience in Mobile Networks is a plus
Experience with Checkpoint is a plus

Norwegian and English, good writing and speaking skills
