We seek experienced business oriented IT Architects!

TeliaSonera Norway consists of the two brands NetCom and Chess. Division Technology is responsible for developing and operating local networks, platforms, applications and products. The sub-unit Products & IT has the responsibility for delivering future proof and cost-efficient IT and product solutions to the local brands. We strive to make IT a competitive advantage that supports growth for our local business by developing attractive and reliable products for our customers, and by implementing efficient and innovative processes to enable excellent customer experience, marketing, sales and support of our products. The unit currently has 30 skillful and dedicated employees.

We are now seeking two experienced IT Architects to strengthen our team.

About the position:

Primary interface and liaison towards the business unit for development of products, services and business processes in projects and assignments

Responsible for mapping business needs into an overall business and IT architecture, including describing the business processes and mapping how IT solutions support these

Responsible for the securing the analysis and pre-study of new projects (together with business analysts), ensuring that proper platform alternative is recommended, and/or enhancements to existing systems if applicable

Work closely with the business unit to ensure that proper business requirements are defined

Evaluate requests for new functionality from the business unit or the Products & IT unit

Solution Architect and Technical Lead in projects and assignments

Professional qualifications:
Education on Master degree level or similar

Several years of experience in an IT Architect role with focus on enterprise architecture

Experience from one or more of the following areas: enterprise architecture, IT architecture, demand management, and/or IT strategy

Excellent understanding of business processes and the complexity of implementing these in the IT landscape preferably for Communications Service Provider

Understanding of Industry frameworks like eTOM, SID and TAM

Experience as Delivery Manager/Technical Project Manager

Experience from managing and optimizing business processes and requirements

Strong understanding of products, value added services and business processes in a mobile telecom operation

Personal qualifications:
