Subsea Systems Engineer

Subsea Systems Engineer to help develop engineering activities related to shallow water flowline and export pipelines during Pre-FEED validation, FEED studies.

The expected duration of the role will be up to 12 months. Expected start date 1st May.

As a division of a major operator, this well-established oil & gas engineering operation, with a reputation for technical excellence, operates primarily as the in-house engineering department of a global operator with their focus being as a competence and execution centre for onshore and deep-water engineering.

Job description:

* To support the Company Team during Project Development Phases in the engineering, design, manufacturing and testing of subsea Xmas Trees, subsea tie-in systems, ROV tools, subsea structures (manifolds, suction plies and SDU) and workover system assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices

* To learn and became confident with all company standards and Project Specification in order to verify Contractor compliance
* To ensure the performance, installability and operability of the subsea systems and structures
* To ensure that all necessary technical interlaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times
* Perform Site Inspection and Interfacing with the Contractor
* To ensure delivery of the subsea equipment with the Projects and objectives
* To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedures by Contractor and assist installation campaign
* To Interface with Company Project interface coordinator to manage and expedite all the SPS contractor Interfaces with other Project Contractors

Requirements – Subsea Systems Engineer:
* Engineering degree (Mechanical is preferable)
