Senior Flow Assurance Engineer

Senior Flow Assurance Engineer (agency role) to help develop engineering activities related to shallow water flowline and export pipelines flow assurance and hydraulics analysis activities during Pre-FEED validation, FEED studies. Candidates must be able to carry out engineering activities relating to chemical inhibitor selection program. The expected duration of the role will be up to 12 months.

Candidates must have following skills and experience:

Experience with surge analysis, fluid characterisation, wax deposition, hydrate management and slug mitigation as minimum.

Be able to apply industry codes and standards to the work related to flow assurance analysis for subsea fields, subsea pipelines and infield flowlines.
Manage and perform flow assurance and operability studies and prepare calculation and design reports as well (in an autonomous way or under supervision).

Able to generate subsea operating philosophies and procedures, provide input to corrosion risk assessment.
Simulate transient simulations for wells start-up/shut-in and subsea system pigging start-up, shutdown and cooldown for assessing and mitigating risks. Perform steady state and transient simulations under the direction of the Flow Assurance Lead Engineer.
Experience with OLGA, PIPESIM and HYSYS is essential.

Ideally candidates should have a degree in Fluid Mechanics or Chemical Engineering.

Some business travel may be required.
