HCL Permanent, one of the UK’s largest providers of healthcare recruitment, is looking for 4 General Practitioners to work with our clients in Essex.
Applications are welcome from all areas of the profession ranging from post-VT to current Principal GPs looking for change.

Job description:

The area of your future work is an area of high deprivation that offers interesting challenges from a newly renovated, purpose-built health centre.

The successful applicants will be expected to:

· Actively assist in the development of the newly formed clinical team ethos.

· Provide clinical guidance to the whole Practice team.

· Input into developing systems for the delivery of services.

· Lead in dedicated clinical areas of the practice.

· Participate in the development of services in line with the current changes including GP commissioning and the wider NHS agenda.

· Have interest in developing the practice to ‘training practice’ status in cooperation with the organisations GP Tutors.

We are supportive of and encourage personal development in order to develop services and improve the patient experience at a local level. This includes supporting clinicians with specialist interests.

Salary package is based on three elements: Basic, Recruitment & Retention Premia and Performance Related.

Requirements:

• Full and GP Registry entry on the UK GMC
• A member on the UK GMC PCT List
• At least 2 years experience working as a GP in the UK
• Solid knowledge of the Primary Care system in the UK
• Demonstrate a caring attitude toward the practice, staff and patients
• Be dynamic, with great leadership skills, flexibility
• Experience as a Principal/Partner/Junior Partner/Lead GP desirable

Terms:

• A "Golden Hello"! - 10% of annual basic salary or up to £7,000 cash paid up front for doctors who are joining on a long-term basis of two years or more!
• Relocation package of up to £8,000
• MDU Cover and reimbursement of GMC Fees
• Combined Salary of up to £96,000 (This is broken down into three parts: : Basic, Recruitment & Retention Premia and Performance Related)
