Are you ready for a new challenge? H&M is growing and we are looking for two new Product developers to our Production Office (PO) in Bangalore, India. You will develop woven products for our Ladies concepts: Everyday, Mama, HM+ and Modern Classic as well as the LOGG concepts for children to ladies & men. You work close with the PO teams with mission set from the Buying office and contribute with a strong customer focus to the work in PO. Your main responsibility as a product developer is to enable and prepare for future selling.
You will be responsible for:
Follow the trends sent from Buying office, make conclusions on what to prioritize and focus on for the India market(materials, product types and colours).
Build trust and create understanding and possibilities between BO, PO and suppliers, to make creative solutions and optimize profitability.
Be involved in the Product Development, to secure the look and making according to requests from the Buying Office.
Contribute to increase speed in product developments and increase quick orders, to enable the latest fashion throughout the season.
To succeed in this role we believe that you have/are:
Min. bachelor’s degree in textile economics, design or other equivalent degree
Experience from the retail business, preferably within product development and purchasing
Interest in fashion, trends and H&M’s products
Knowledge about woven materials
Driven teamplayer that can guide, involve and inspire the rest of the team
Leadership experience and qualities
Business minded, goal oriented with excellent communication skills
