Pulse International is looking for a Nurse Manager, IV and Infusion Services for an exciting new healthcare project in Qatar.
Job description:
Scheduled to open in 2013, the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme, general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College - a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.
The Manager, IV & Infusion Services administers and coordinates activities of the IV & Infusion Service and is responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures in this area. He / she is also responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery and maintains the operational and planning aspects of the IV and Infusion Service in collaboration with other services.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a Master’s degree in nursing and at least three years’ experience in a comparable role within an academic medical centre in a western country.
