My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, they are a leading supplier to a variety of industries including the nuclear, Oil & gas, Marine, defence, renewable energy, transport and infrastructure.

Job description:

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, they are a leading supplier to the nuclear industry providing specialist design, engineering and manufacturing services. They are located in Cumbria, in the North West of England.

Due to the continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team and market leading company.

The successful applicant will be an experienced engineer with the following skills and experience:

Experience of managing 2-3 people

3-5 years nuclear experience

Auto CAD and inventor; ability to design from concept and 3D modelling

Experience with Mechanical calculations

Experience producing fabrication and assembly drawings

Must have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent Engineering discipline

Excellent communication skills.
