As a DevOps Engineer you know how to build up and run tools and processes that enable us to promtly deliver new releases. Your key activities will be:
Administrate and operate web/cloud applications including planning, installation, upgrade and decommission
Be the operational partner of the scrum teams
Coordinate incident recovery, planning and implementation of changes and deployments, evaluate problems, optimize and tune system landscapes
Design, implement, maintain and improve of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Perform Technical 2nd / 3rd Level support
Support international projects, improvement and automation of operational routines
Participate in oncall shifts for high available services
Who are we looking for?
For this role we are looking for a service and customer oriented candidate with great communication skills and confident appearance in complex situations. You should also be interested and able to work in an international environment.
You have an academic degree or a comparable training with several years of experience
Knowledge of cloud technologies (as Azure, MS Windows)
Good practical experience in administration (Windows, Linux Servers) and in IT infrastructure
Experience in cooperation with development teams which use agile methodologies
Experience in administration and configuration of web and application servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat, IIS)
Basic knowledge in the area of (distributed) IT infrastructure (e.g. DNS, IP-networks, routing, firewall, database, Active Directory, storage, network, IT security)
Fluent English in talking and writing and – if applying for Germany – solid German
Good at solving problems, self-steering, ready to take over responsibility, structural way of working
