Markets summer internship 2016
DNB Markets is Norway's largest investment bank with significant international presence, operating within the four business lines: Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC), Equities, Investment Banking and Securities Services.
We are currently looking for outstanding candidates for our summer internship programme 2016 where we offer positions within our Equity Research, Equity Sales and Investment Banking divisions.
We are mainly interested in students studying business/economics or engineering, however, most important, our summer interns need to have an exceptional quantitative understanding. Consequently, other specializations which meet our requirements may be relevant.
An internship with DNB Markets is a unique opportunity for students to get to know DNB and acquire relevant working experience. As a summer intern you will work with challenging tasks, being supervised by first-class professionals. Most of our summer interns will work within Equity Research; additionally other exciting opportunities exist in our Equity Sales and Investment Banking divisions. Moreover, all summer interns will have the opportunity to attend our two-days case workshop where all DNB’s summer interns will participate and where you will network and discuss actual issues that DNB is facing.
The internship lasts from 6 – 16 weeks during the period May to September, depending on your preferences. If vacation is desirable, one to two weeks can be agreed upon in July. However, the effective working period should be of minimum 6 weeks.
We are looking for candidates that have:
A desire to learn more about the work within an investment bank
Strong academic results, especially in quantitative courses
Completed minimum one year of relevant studies and have at least one year left after finished internship (2nd – 4th year students)
Have excellent communication skills within Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing
