Product Development on Clothing. A luxury brand who are looking for a Product Developer to be based in London.

Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Product Developer to join a luxury brand based in London!

Working in the RTW department, the Product Developer will have the following responsibilities:
*Work with Design to ensure the aesthetic vision is realised.
*Manage the Critical Path from conception to delivery and meet deadlines.
*Support design to research and source Raw Materials.
*Form and maintain strong relationships with your own Supplier Base, ensuring that all Department objectives and requirements are achieved.
*Manage the Product Life Cycle, from Initial Pack hand over to Salesman Sample managing all product approvals to critical path and business standards.
*Ensure that developments meet the Brand Integrity of LK Bennett.
*Work in partnership with Technical Team in fit meetings.
*Assist with the Production Hand Over to ensure all departments and Suppliers are fully briefed post Wholesale sign off meetings.
*Negotiate prices to ensure agreed target Margins are achieved or exceeded.
*Manage and maintain all Product Development Tools and documents including Spec packs, Seasonal Tracker, Cost Breakdowns, key booking dates.
*Manage all Sampling requirements to meet business needs i.e. SMS, Press samples and wearer trials.
*Travel to suppliers and factories to brief new development, negotiate on planned production and ensure factory and environment are of sound working condition.
*Provide Leadership and Management to the Product Developer Intern.
