Process Engineer

This is an exciting and challenging new role working for a leading medical devices organisation on the South Coast who are now looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the operations team and will focus on the development of new and current manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, utilisation and reduction waste forms.

As Process Engineer you will also lead and participate in project teams taking responsibility for process validation, process implementation and costing & budget controls.

Job description:

*Act as validation expert for the plant on new and existing processes
*Fully document trials and validations according to company procedure
*Keep updated with technological developments in process engineering
*Generate engineering change orders and progress them through to implementation
*Identify activities necessary to improve processes within manufacturing
*Create project plans to establish improvement activities
*Compile specifications, protocols, reports and SOPs
*Organise and coordinate the activities required to improve processes
*Select and manage equipment suppliers
*Specify equipment and service requirements
*Writing validation protocols, validation reports and executions of validations
*Carry out projects where necessary
*Introduce new products into the plant
*Organise investigatory testing

The Successful Applicant:

*Validation
*Machine Shop
*Medical or experience in a highly regulated industry
*Finishing Techniques
*Time Study Analysis
*Assembly Techniques
*Project Management
*Injection Moulding

Additional requirements:
*Knowledge of requirements working in the medical device industry (FDA, ISO9001) preferable
*Good problem analysis ability
*Positive and lateral thinker
*Able to work in a project team and individually
*Able to travel throughout the UK, Europe & America
*Flexible working hours
*Able to work in a clean room
*Knowledge of Statistics
