Pulse International is looking for a Head Nurse for a specialist Cardiac Centre located in the 400-bed Bahrain Defence Hospital. The hospital is one of Bahrain’s most prestigious hospitals and caters for both military personnel and civilians.
Job description:
The ultra-modern Cardiac Centre offers diagnostic and interventional cardiology services, as well as closed and open-heart surgery procedures and treatment for congenital heart disease. Both adults and children are treated.
Bahrain has the richest culture in the Arabian Gulf - dating back 4,000 years - as well as being a modern, thriving country. It’s now a popular tourist destination with a relaxed social environment. It is a chain of about 30 islands and it’s home to the American Navy’s Fifth Fleet.
The successful candidate for this post will be a Registered Nurse (western degree) with at least five years post-registration experience, to include three years in a cardiac specialty two of which should have been as Team Leader. A relevant, post-registration qualification would be an advantage.
