Development & Quality Engineer: Filtration
Develop and qualify new synthetic non-woven material for filtration applications.
Responsible for securing the right quality and performance of our products in mass production
Development and qualification of non-woven materials related:
Develop and validate non-woven media for filtration media
Participate in development of new products and applications
Perform measurements and tests in our laboratory
Responsible for the technical equipment in our laboratory
Participate in development and qualification of interfaces for dust-bag cardboards
Work together with the Purchasing and R&D in Stockholm on project-related and ad hoc requests, reports and analyses
Quality management related:
Regular quality tests of incoming materials and finished goods
Send claim reports and ascertain corrective actions to suppliers when deviation from specification
Handle claim reports when deviations from specification.
Setup specifications for materials and finished products.
Be responsible for delivery of finished goods and components according to the orders
Responsible for ISO 9001 and 14000 systems and internal audits
Provide customer quality and specification requests.
Develop and measure relevant quality KPIs and secure that targets are reached
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
College (BA/Bsc) or University (MA/Msc) degree in Material or Chemistry.
MS-Office knowledge, MS Excel is key (pivot tables, basic formulas and macros)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Great attention to details and logical thinking
Strong analytical skills and process oriented mindset
Must be a team-player as well as be able to work independently
REQUIRED LANGUAGES:
Fluent Swedish and English knowledge is
required
