Artworker
The Artworker is in charge of the packaging implementation for the Consumables & Accessories products in Small Appliances. Based on predefined brand guidelines deliver packaging solutions and final artwork for manufacturing. Extending beyond packaging, you will also be responsible for artwork production for other print collateral such as catalogues, shelf layouts and other in-store materials. You will work closely with product management and you will be functionally linked to the Electrolux Design team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Artworker, you'll be part of the C&A product management team. You will use words, images and graphic design to create best in class packaging and in-store materials, to build our brand and help sell our products.
Your key operational responsibilities include:
• Create optional solutions for packaging
• Creation of packaging artwork based on guidelines and templates.
• Update of packaging artworks on a weekly basis
• Manage library of icons, content, translations etc.
• Execute product shoots in in-house studio
• Product retouch and edit images and illustrations
• Prepare planograms – in store shelf layout proposals for defined product ranges
• Provide appropriate instructions/guidelines to printing companies
• Produce sample packaging to try out different materials and designs
• Format and combine text, numerical data, photographs, charts, and other visual graphic elements to produce publication-ready material, such as leaflets, packaging, brochures
• Edit text and create graphics to accompany text
• Participate in other Design and Marketing Communication projects
• Guard and develop all our brand and content guidelines
• Manage contact and contracts with external design agencies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Minimum 2 years experience and knowledge in artwork production, picture retouch and graphical design.
• Knowledge in printing techniques (Offset, Flexo, etc) – Mandatory
• Strong computer skills; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator)
• Experience with product photography is a clear plus.
• Knowledge in Spaceman is a merit
• Great team working skills and ability to work independently
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Meticulous and diligent
