Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle all aspects of our Transportation and Warehousing activities. The position reports to the Accounting Manager – Supply Chain, North America and is based in Charlotte, NC.
Job description:
Performing month-end close responsibilities and financial reporting accurately as assigned and in compliance with internal controls
Entry of Std accruals for all Whse locations
Preparation of Allocations to Product Lines
Preparation and Entry of Inbound/Outbound Freight accruals.
Approval and reconciliation of all freight invoices
Provide frequent and timely support to various business partners throughout the organization
Interact with Warehouse GM’s to ensure proper handling of costs
Prepare and provide financial analysis with variance to PLAN and Forecast in a timely manner
Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting processes
Identify cost savings within the T&W system
Standardize and streamline process efficiencies
Ensure continuous Improvement in reporting and analytics
Follow internal control procedures to ensure compliance
Prepare reconciliations
Prepare information as needed for external auditors
Perform other projects as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor/ Manager
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
4-6 years experience in industry or public accounting required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to details and good organizational skills
Spreadsheet Modeling skills
Advanced MS Excel required
JD Edwards and SQL experience a plus
