Director of Oncology Centre, Saudi Arabia
Pulse International is looking for a Medical Director for the Oncology Centre of a 640-bed, internationally accredited, tertiary care hospital in Dammam, in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia.
The Oncology Centre is one of the main departments of the hospital and offers the following:
· Adult & paediatric oncology and stem cell transplant
· Radiation Therapy
· Palliative Care
The centre offers multi-disciplinary care programmes which include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, total body irradiation, oncology surgery, bone marrow transplant, autologous or allogenic target cell therapy, and immunotherapy. The Radiation Therapy Department uses a sophisticated technique of intra-operative radiation therapy. All care programmes include the active support of allied healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate for this post will be a senior Oncologist with CCST / American Board / western equivalent and at least five years’ experience as Head of Department. He / she will have published original articles in peer-reviewed journals.
