Store manager

Do you accept the challenge?

For our new shop in Hamburg, we are looking for a Store Manager. The positions is permanent and full-time (40 hrs/week). Start date: 2016-03-01.

The store manager displays leadership and develops the store with personnel and result accountability, and ensures that the store achieves its goals. You lead the store's management team, and together with the employees, you build the base for the best possible customer interaction, service and solutions for customer’s needs.

Your leadership has clarity and a business mind-set, and jointly you create a workplace that exudes commitment and joy. You plan, evaluate and follow-up activities and you also participate in the daily store operations. Your daily work is in line with our company values, retail concepts and commercial principles.

Are you the person we are looking for?
We are looking for a leader with a flair for retail business, capable of growing with the challenge of running a successful store in the establishment phase. You have a professional education in retail and several years of work experience from shops with a strong brand. You have worked in a managerial position and have been responsible for personnel and getting results.

You can speak and write English well and are used to an international work environment and/or interacting with other cultures. You can effectively use modern IT tools.

You are open to new ideas and like to put words into action. Your own key driver is to make employees grow and develop and to see them succeed in delivering first class customer service. You, like us, believe in team work as a base for efficient operations.

Important criteria and qualifications:
completed professional training/education in sales, retail or other service area

previous work in a retail store with a concept (discount stores etc.) or a vivid brand (hardware store, furniture store etc.)

work experience as a manager with own staff, workplace, business goals and sales results

skills in planning, operating and monitoring a store

written and oral English communication skills for daily work

good computer skills, especially with MS Office, and perhaps with ERP-systems

interest in an international work environment and open-minded towards diverse cultures

open for occasional business trips to Sweden

leadership that is clear, communicative, practical, coaching, collaborative

outgoing, engaging, energetic and cheerful personality
