Trauma Charge Nurse for Dubai. Pulse International is looking for a Charge Nurse for the Accident & Emergency Department (A&E) of a major trauma centre in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Job description:
This is one of the largest Trauma Centres in the world. The Emergency Department sees over 400 patients daily and there are 40 Registered Nurses on every shift. 10% of patients are admitted, most with multiple injuries. Candidates should therefore have recent experience in poly-trauma.
Managed by a Canadian health care organization this is a great hospital to work in, with imaginative management, a highly motivated workforce and - despite the serious nature of the injuries treated - very low staff turnover.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a qualification in Emergency Trauma Care. At least five years post-registration experience is required, to include three years in Accident & Emergency. Some experience in Paediatrics would be an advantage.
