C#.NET Developer

We are looking for a Developer to develop and maintain client / server and Web-based application software for Windows NT and UNIX Operating Systems by using a mix of programming languages such as C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET, C++, and Java along with SQL Server / Oracle Databases

Management / Supervision: :

This Programmer / Analyst may act as a Team Leader on large projects; supervising a team of trainees and Associates (programmers)

Design, program, test, document, and maintain applications written for client / server and Web environments

Participate in graphic user interface, database, and system and component design

Develop application components using C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET, C++ etc.

Perform database programming using stored procedures, functions, CLR, etc.

Develop Web components in VBScript, JavaScript, Java, VB, ASP, and JSP

Develop reports using Crystal Reports and SQL reporting services

Perform unit and integration testing

Assist in system and user acceptance testing

Document application modules

Assist in the preparation of user and system documentation

Implement our client's design standards and System Development Methodology

Specific Requirements:

• Programming in .NET, Java, C++ / C#, VB Script, and JavaScript
• Database programming SQL, ODBC, ADO, OLEDB, and SQL Server / Oracle RDBMS
• Web programming using HTML, DHTML, and XML
• Must be able to work with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and SQL Reporting Services
• Knowledge of Windows NT and UNIX Operating Systems
• Must be skillful with Object-Oriented design concepts and architecture
• Must be skillful with various Systems Development Methodologies such as Waterfall, RUP, and Agile
• 10 or more years of experience in applications development are required
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Experience with Global Custody, multi-currency accounting, international banking, and FX and Securities Processing Application Systems will be helpful
