BI Administrator – International Operation / LNG Projects

International Oil & Gas Operator require a Bi Administrator to join their team on a Perth based, contract assignment.

The individual will be part of the Enterprise Information Delivery Asia-Pacific Team which provides leveraged reporting and business solutions to the Companies Asia Pacific region (primarily) as well as to the global networks. Accountable for providing Operational support for the Asia-Pacific reporting environment, primarily SAP Business Objects 4.1 and SAP Business Warehouse.

Job description:

Definition, design, development, implementation and support of Business Objects Suite of tools.
Support and administration of BI 4.1 Environment – Includes installation, configuration, monitoring and upgrade management.
Troubleshooting support tickets for operational issues.
Comply with HSE policies, Life Saving Rules, procedures, goals and program, and roles and responsibilities within the Australia Business Unit West (ABUW) HSE Management System.
Demonstrate CLEAR behaviours in line with ABU West HSE Expectations for your role.
Actively engage in, and contribute to HSE communication and consultation processes.
Demonstrate a commitment to establishing and meeting HSE performance targets and generate ideas for continuous HSE performance improvement.
Understand and give primary consideration to managing the hazards and risks associated with your role and other risks that can impact our organisational objectives.

Qualifications & Required Experiences:
Business Objects Administration in BI 4.1
Demonstrated success in building, implementing and supporting Business Objects 4.1
Demonstrated proficiency using BI tools (Business Objects Suite 4.1).
Technical Architecture Design with Business Objects
Experience with SAP BW
Understanding of connectivity to various data sources such as BW, Oracle and SQL Server
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with team, management, customers and vendors
Experience with Crystal Reports, Universes, Webi, SAP Dashboards
Experience with other BI tools (Spotfire, Microsoft BI, Essbase, Cisco DV)
Experience in the oil & gas industry
