Our client is looking for a Verification Engineer to be based in Aberdeen Responsible for managing the Europe E&P Verification Scheme for the Europe E&P North Sea Operated Assets. In addition, the also oversee the collation, submission and exception reporting of Asset Integrity KPIs, and act as process owner for the Engineering Management of Change Process. Work across departments and teams, influencing and supporting others who will often deliver the actual outputs and deliverables needed to feed the above work streams.
Independent Verification Scheme
Overall management of the Europe E&P Verification Scheme, including;
o Responsible for managing all aspects of the IVB contract to the maximum benefit of the Europe E&P North Sea Operated Assets.
o Ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements for Independent Verification.
o Liaise with Asset Teams to co-ordinate IVB offshore inspection visits.
o Work closely with Asset Technical Authorities to ensure proposed IVB inspection actions are appropriate.
o Work closely with Engineering Service Provider(s) to ensure that Independent Verification activities relating to brownfield modification and capital project scopes are appropriately managed in line with statutory and internal requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that Asset Performance Standards are maintained to a high standard and latest versions available to all.
Asset Integrity KPIs and Reporting:
• Responsible for the collation, submission and exception reporting of Europe E&P North Sea Asset Integrity KPIs.
Management of Change
• Act as process owner for the Engineering Management of Change Process.
Ensure Europe E&P Asset compliance against Group Standards relating to Verification, Asset Integrity and Management of Change.
What we are looking for:
Strong operations and engineering experience in E&P.
Track record demonstrating success in implementing and maintaining Verification Schemes.
Experience of Management of Contracts valued at circa £1 million per annum.
Awareness of Corporate Asset Integrity KPI’s and improvement programmes.
Awareness of Management of Change principles.
Educated to First Degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline.
Likely to be a Chartered Engineer or progressing towards.
Thorough understanding of UK Offshore Regulatory Framework.
Able to deliver performance from third party contractors.
Good written and oral communication skills.
