The Tender Manager, must be a self motivated person, numerate and commercially aware and has the knowledge and experience in order to come to the best technical proposal. This role involves negotiating technical proposals and using strong project management skills to manage this process internally.
Ultimate responsibility for best design, technical proposal and cost Concentrate on proposal, contribute to bid strategy Lead the proposal team (lead engineers, supply and cost estimating) Draw up and carry out proposal schedule Arrange technical proposal (guarantees, technical/scope R&D’s, document delivery etc) Coordinate with supply management to get confirmed prices from the market Arrange quality checks (design, specs, rates and quotes) Prepare risk summary (technical, cost) Attends tenderboard meetings Primary contact with client for technical/scope issues Actively participate in technical/scope negotiations Hand over to project execution (costs/design/scope)

You have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Energy related subjects and 5-10 years of experience in a technical business to business environment. You have the experience with capital goods in Energy/Chemicals related business. You are able to build and maintain cross cultural contacts. You have international working experience and are willing to travel abroad on a regular basis. You understand the general engineering principles as they apply to the equipment manufactured. Project management experience is desirable. Due to the international work field an excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and oral, is required.
