The 317MW Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm (SSWF), located between 17 and 23 kilometres off the coast of North Norfolk in the UK, comprises 88 wind turbines and generate around 1.1TWh of green energy per annum. This is enough clean energy to power almost 220,000 British homes. Compared to fossil fuels that is a reduction of around 500,000 tonnes of CO² emissions every year.
To strengthen our team we are now looking for two O&M Support Engineers for SSWF - one with 5 years minimum engineering experience and one Graduate.
Both roles will report directly to the Lead Engineer.
To maintain the assets as per the maintenance strategy and to ensure maximum availability and promote longevity of plant and equipment
Execute planned and corrective maintenance tasks
Review and evaluate engineering activities in line with the maintenance strategy
Support the Engineering team in delivering projects on all assets
Produce relevant RAMS documentation for tasks
Show a high level of HSE awareness
Your profile:
Engineering degree or equivalent
5 years minimum Engineering experience / Graduate
Experience in Offshore wind
Offshore medical certificate
Offshore GWO certification
Knowledge of:
- HV/LV systems including maintenance
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulic system
- Condition Monitoring systems
- Wind Turbine knowledge
